Sony A7 IV
4K / 50fps / Full Frame / 33MP
The Sony A7 IV is a full-frame mirrorless camera with a full-frame sensor (35.9 x 23.9 mm).
The camera has a newly developed 33MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR image processor. These offer more speed, better performance, improved noise reduction, and a wider dynamic range (advertised 15 stops). The camera can also film in 4K 4:2:2 10-bit up to 60p.
Furthermore, the camera has Sony's S-Cinetone color profile, which is known for 'True-to-Life' skin colors, and you can also film in S-log2 and S-log3, giving you more control during color grading. Like most Sony mirrorless cameras, this camera has Real-Time Eye AF, Eye and Face Detection, and Subject Touch Tracking. This makes the camera ideal for use with a gimbal and for Run and Gun shooters.
Unique to this camera is its Heat Map function. With this function, you can see where your focus lies by means of a 'Heat Map'.
Additionally, the camera has a full-size HDMI input, one CFexpress Type A/SD (UHS-II) card slot, one SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II) card slot, and a USB Type-C input that allows you to charge the camera.
Finally, the camera weighs only 658 grams and its dimensions are 131.3 x 96.4 x 79.8 mm.
